Speerit Hill is a small, working equestrian privately owned farm. If you are a member of the MFHA or with a member, you are welcome to bring your equine friend.  The cost is $40 per night.  There are stalls and turn out facilities. This fee includes shavings, water, and all buckets, plus the use of our wash bay.  Turn out only is $25 per night.  Please let us know at least three days before your arrival the accommodations you will need.

Interested in a more long-term arrangement? Monthly boarding is $700 per month which includes: room and board, use of tack room, daily care, and trailer parking.   If you need additional care such as weekly exercise, there are reputable people in the area that are available for hire.

Wash bay and tack room privileges are available for all Speerit Hill overnight equestrian guests.

At Speerit Hill, we love pets.  Our two dogs, Lucy and Pee Wee plus one cat, Ozzie call all of Speerit Hill “home”. The dogs roam around the farm at will and are very friendly, but, they are dogs and will bark at other pets. We also have a barn kitty, Josie, who makes her appearance mostly at feeding time, plus two horses, Fanci and Michelin and one pony, Misty.

Because of our proximity to the road, we require all visiting pets to be on a leash. In addition, we do not allow pets inside the suites. If you are traveling with your canine friend, we have on premise kennels at an additional $10 per night.  The kennels are equipped with fans, fresh water, and lots of shade. There are two of them and they are located close to the suites.

Part of the working spirit at Speerit Hill is the harvesting of hay on our farm during the summer season. It is a fescue and orchard grass mix.  Our horses love it.  Normally selling for $6 per bale, our prices are subject to change.  Please inquire whether you need a small number of bales or larger quantities. We have a supplier and can sell you all you need.
